    Print Spool

I recently heard, or read something about being able to re-print documents that have been deleted using the print spool on my computer. If this is correct. where do I find the print spool. Ive looked in Windows Explorer, but dont seem to see that anywhere.
    Thanks John

    Re: Print Spool

The global default location for all printers spool files is %SystemRoot%System32SpoolPrinters (i.e. C:WindowsSystem32SpoolPrinters). If you have only local printers installed, the spool file is automatically deleted after a printer reports the document was printed. If you have network printers installed, a printserver can be configured to audit print jobs.

For more information about spool file locations, see KB123747 - Moving the Windows Default Paging and Spool File

For more information about network printing, see Network Printing Basics

Thanks, Unfortunetly I dont have a print server. The printer is connected to one computer that is on all the time and shared through that computer.
    Thanks John
