    Find blank cell (2003 sp2)

    Dear Loungers,

    Is there an easy way to find the first occurrence of a blank cell? In this case I want to find the first instant of a blanl cell in a column to identify the last line of detail

    Hi Liz,

    Interactely, you can press End, then the down arrow to go to the last filled cell in the current column of the current block of data. The cell below it will be blank.
    In a macro, you can do the same using

    Dim oCell As Range
    Set oCell = Range("A1").End(xlDown).Offset(1, 0)

    Replace A1 with a cell in the column in which you want to look, or use ActiveCell instead of Range("A1") if you want to find the first blank cell in the current column.
