Ad-Aware log files

My question is can Ad-Aware old log files be removed safely? My log folder is getting quite heavy but I don't want to remove files that Ad-Aware needs.

As long as you don't need to restore what is in the log file.

    Re: Ad-Aware log files

A little trick I do when I am not sure is to move the files to another location and keep them there for a while (say a week) and if no adverse affect is noticed I delete them.

Frankly my opinion is to leave wweeelll alone....anyway what do you mean by "My log folder is getting quite heavy"

    Re: Ad-Aware log files

Each log file is dated and contains almost the same items. Changes to my programs don't happen every day, nor every week, so the newest one covers all I'm using.

Thank you Joe, that's exactly what I wanted to hear.

Please don't ignore my advice though Duchess, Joe's advice maybe what you want to hear, just don't be rash in removing them completely....please take note and have regard for my advice

    Re: Ad-Aware log files

Advice noted and implemented. I will leave well enough alone. The old saying of if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here.

    Thanks, Gloria
