    looking for ASP tutorial

If you have any good idea where i might find a good online tutorial for ASP i'd very much appreciate it. Something possibly zipped & downloadable so I can print it off & have it to study.

    Re: looking for ASP tutorial

Searching Google for 'asp tutorial' seems to bring up a fair selection, 'though I can't vouch for any in particular.

    There's always the tutorial from MSDN <A target="_blank" HREF=http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?URL=/library/en-us/dnasp/html/asptutorial.asp>here</A>.

<A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.w3schools.com/>w3schools</A> has tutorials in many web-based technologies. I've used the asp stuff, and it's good- but basic, so you'll need to move on when you've leaarnt the basics.

    Re: looking for ASP tutorial

Hmmm. Not exactly a tutorial, but I just noticed the lead article at ASPAlliance is an intro to ASP:

    Re: looking for ASP tutorial

Sorry, an additional comment from me.

I'm just starting to look at ASP.NET- it might be worth while for you to have a look at the MS site, just in case thats' suitable to you. ASP.NET is MS's next bandwagon. It might be worth while just checking out to see if this is suitable for you. There's a lot of stuff on the MS site for all sorts of levels. My first impression (and I'm way behind evertone else around me, and I haven't gone in far) is that there's lots on offer. You can't convert from ASP to ASP.NET transparently- so if you're just starting out now, it mat be good to start with NET.

. . . and an additional one from me:

Not exactly a tuturorial either, but <A target="_blank" HREF=http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q259/3/83.ASP>Q259383</A> is the MS ASP Knowledge Base Article Index.

    arage,

I think the specs are high end. I suspect it's Windows 2000/NT for a start.

Stick to asp, don't spend too much, and keep the dream going.
