    Delete query (Access 2000)

    My first field name in the table students is StudentID. i want to delete with one criteria all the stidentid numbers except studentid = 420. How can i use the <> signs ?

    Simply enter <>420 in the Criteria row under StudentID. Make sure that you have changed the query to a delete query (Query | Delete Query).
    You can switch to datasheet view to check which records will be deleted, then switch back to design view and select Query | Run or click the Run button (the large <big><big>!</big></big> exclamation mark) to execute the delete query.
