Logitech Mouse - Minimise all

Not sure if this should go here, or XP. Please feel free to move it if appropriate.

I've got a new Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse (tm) for my new Dell laptop. (The company bought the laptop, I had to buy the Mouse ). On my old Logitech Cordless Mouse I had the wheel button set to Minimise All. i.e. click the wheel button, everything minimises. Well, the new software that came with the new mouse only has 'minimise' (i.e. only the open window). I tried setting it for a keystroke (Windows Key +M) but the software doesn't recognise the Windows key.

Is there any other keystrokes that does the same thing? Or does anyone know of anyother way of doing what I am trying to do?

(I tried reinstalling the old software (Mouseworks) but the new mouse didn't like that at all)

The uberOptions modification for the Logitech SetPoint drivers appears to add (among many other things) support for Win+M. Haven't tried it myself, though.

Being a Logitech fanatic (cordless keyboard and cordless optical mouse) I like this link, Hans. Thanks for posting it! Haven't yet tried any, but I probably will. From the sound of the applause I can almost hear all the way 'cross the pond, evidently Bowlie likes it too...

Re: Logitech Mouse - Minimise all

Once again, thanks to you and Hans for bringing this topic up. I installed the thing after reading that my model mouse and keyboard are included. The "somewhat dire" warning about the Logitech EULA gave me a little pause, but I figure what the heck, I can always uninstall it. I prefer the WinKey-D selection rather than minimize all, for I can click again and re-open the minimized windows. So far, that's the only one I've tried but it's nice to have.

Thanks for the tip Al. I hadn't realised that winky-D was a toggle. Perfect

I have to return the Mouse though, Its started working really flakey with the pointer freezing. Thought it might be the uber-software, but had exactly the same problems at home with the Mac. Supposed to be a year's guarantee and I hope the shop is sympathetic, considering I threw away all the packaging! I did keep the receipt.
