Can't Open Link (XP Pro, SP2+)

I've been trying for two days to access a trial program on the Pittsburgh Paints site. The link shows the code below:

java scriptpenWindow('http://www.eisoftwareapps.com/PPGv2.0/main.asp','PPG',780,560)

When I click it, a window opens for about 2 seconds, then closes. I reset the Advanced options in IE6 to the defaults, with no change. Secuirty is set to Medium in IE. Anyone got a clue what might be wrong, and how I can fix it?

John,
When I use the link without the 'PPG'780,560, it brings me to a page for color selection etc. Is this the page you were trying to get to?

Try this: PPG

Bob,

Don't know, I never could get beyond the link

>> Try this: PPG <<

That loads OK. So is the problem with my PC or the page coding?

I would say the page coding, since I can't get anywhere using the entire link as you show it. <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>

Allow that domain for pop-ups in the specific dialog for the pop-up blocker and see wehther that helps.

I forgot to put in my original post that I had tried that, with no success.

Do you have any other pop-up blockers/closers? Some search toolbars, for example, include them. Also, anything that is suspicious of Flash movies?

For anyone who wants to play, this page has a link to launch the pop-up: http://www.eisoftwareapps.com/PPGv2.0/

Jefferson,
Yes, that's the same place the link in my post goes. ( without the visualizer launcher )

Hi Bob, the poster seems to have a problem with the javascript window launching step, so I thought the link to the "previous" page might help others to test that particular aspect of the situation. As you say, the ultimate destination seems to be the same.
