Saving and merging contacts (Office 2000, Windows)

i have a problem. My brother is retiring and has to turn in his company laptop. He wants to save his Outlook data and run it on his own desktop. No problems so far. I can export to a pst file and transfer it to the desktop in minutes.

However, he wants to merge the old, work contacts list into his desktop list without losing the contacts he already has on his desktop. If there's a way to do t his, he'd like o merge the rest of Outlook from his labptop to his desktop.

Unfortunately, I think it does. I say unfortunately because it's not a trivial job and I'm going to have to lead my brother thorugh it over the phone. Wish me luck.

    Thanks.
