    Default Email (Office 2003)

    Hi,

I am attempting to email a worksheet.
My default email is Outlook, but when I attempt to "File-send to-mail recipient" it appears to be using OE to send.
This is an issue as all my contacts are in Outlook and it's not picking up my contacts email addresses using OE.
Have checked all the ways to change default email client (Windows, IE, Outlook) and they all are set for OL. Can't find any setting in Excel to set it for OL.

May I have assistance from the Woody's Experts please.

    Thanks
    Neville

There is no setting in Excel to specify an e-mail program, it should use your default e-mail program. This is specified in the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options... in Internet Explorer. But I gather you have already checked that. If so, try the following:
    - Activate the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options...
    - Select Outlook Express as default e-mail application.
    - OK your way out.
    - Activate the Programs tab of Tools | Internet Options... again.
    - Now set Outlook as default e-mail application.
    - Restart your PC.

    Hi Neville

    Try changing your IE settings.

    1) Open Internet Explorer
    2) Click Tools|Internet Options
    3) Click Programs
    4) Select Microsoft Office Outlook in the Email drop down
    5) Apply|OK

    That should do the job

    Hi Hans,

Had tried this previously but didn't restart PC.

Have done so now and it's solved.

    Thanks again.
