    bas is effectively a text file. So no but you could put it on a zip file and password protect it. Otherwise you should protect the module with a password. A method I have done in the past when teaching is to create an XLA with the module protected with a password and then got students/users to join the add-in in a normal workbook. They could run the code but not read it.
