    Attendee details for a meeting (OL2K/SR-1 9.0.0.3821)

<P ID="edit"><FONT SIZE=-1>Edited by silverback on 19-Jul-01 16:00.</FONT></P>A request from one of our secretaries here.
As the arranger of a meeting, she would like to print the Attendee Details from the meeting (shown in the attached gif)
We can't find a way to do this.
If you just use print, you get only the appointment details.
I tried copying all the text from this tab (using Ctrl+A which highlighted everything) but when I pasted it into a Word doc (hoping that I could print the details via this route) all that gets pasted is a list of names separated by semi-colons.
Is there a lounger out there that knows how this information can be printed, please?
    TIA

I've got exactly the same problem - tried the MS knowledgebase, but with no luck - they say to type the details into the 'notes' section as that prints off. Most (un)helpful...

    can anyone help?
    cheers

In the absence of an answer, we resorted to selecting all the text and pasting into a Word doc, then printing.
Not cutting edge stuff, but it works so the secs. are reasonably happy.
Still interested if anyone else has a smarter answer.

A macro could reference the attendees then use automation to open word and fill things in. It could get kind of funky because you'd probably want to use a template with fields to control the formatting. Distributing and supporting all this could be more work thanwriting the code. If your sure you want to go there let me know; it could be interesting to work this up... (or I could get a life).

    No thanks, mate.
Absolutely sure that I don't want to go there!
    Thanks for the offer.

Funny thing, I used to think that you could simply select the whole list and copy and paste it to Excel for sorting, printing etc...
But I end up with the same, semi-colon separated names list as you do.
As a last resort, have you tried a screenshot?
Alt + Print, then paste it to Word and use crop picture to trim it to the right size?

Thanks Doris - memory's playing tricks with me. Nothing unusual there; just another senior moment.
Yes, in fact we ended up taking a screenshot (using the Alt key with Print Screen is vital as you describe, otherwise the whole video image is captured) and pasting it into Word for printing.
Meets the secretaries' basic needs, but seems like an oversight by Microsoft on the usability front
    Thanks for you contribution.

    Just thinking about this:
How about creating a new view based on either the table or card view type.
You can then add the required and optional attendees for display.

I think I'll have to play a bit to make it "pretty" - but it does show the info.

    Cheers
