    Time format doesn't match system time (2003 SP2 11

The system time is set to 24-hour format but Outlook presents all times in 12-hour format. Is there some option I'm not aware of that changes Outlook time format independent of system time?

    Thanks,

    - Al

According to the help menu in MSO2007, the time that Outlook shows is from the system. "You can change how the clock appears in your display. However, changing this display is an option provided by the operating system, not Outlook."

Yes, thanks ... but somehow Outlook has decided to lock the time format as the 12-hour clock! Most strange.

Could you be more specific, for example are you referring to Calendar views, or message times, or something else.

    Hi, John,

Every time stamp in Outlook uses the 12-hour clock format - message times, task times, calendar/appointment views.

    Thanks, - Al

Re: Time format doesn't match system time (2003 SP

You have just reminded me that I have exactly the same problem with one user on one PC, so I looked in MY own PC's Registry for the my user's user information in
    HKEY_USERSS-1-5-etc-etcControl PanelInternational.

I then went to HER computer and compared her settings with my ones. There were two or three differences, so I changed the ones in her values to match those in my PC, and, hey presto!, all the times in Outlook reverted to the v. wonderful 24-hour clock format.

There's not much point my enumerating the contents because we have United Kingdom settings, but I suggest checking iTime (should probably be 1) and sCountry (mine is United Kingdom) at a minimum...

If you're an administrator on your machine, then you will be able to do those more easily via HKEY_CURRENT_USER, but if you just have the one machine you might need to see what is in HKEY_USERS.DEFAULTControl PanelInternational

    Good luck!

    John
