Invalid syntax in Concatenation (Access 2000)

Edited by HansV to correct spelling error in subject

    I have a control on my report with a successful concatenation ="EIK: " & "" & [BBstat] and i receive the figure for example EIK = 3000
Now i want to add the word BG before the figure 3000 but the concatenation gives me wrong syntax. Tne concatenation with the wrong syntax is the following :
    ="EIK: " & " & " BG " & [BBstat]
Can you help me correct the syntax ?

    ="EIK: " & "" & [BBstat]

    ="EIK: " & " & " BG " & [BBstat]

    Try

    ="EIK: BG" & [BBstat]

You can put the entire constant part between one pair of quotes, there is no need to split it into several parts. Of course, the variable part BBstat must be outside the quotes.
