    Select Field (03)

Upon selecting a dropdown on a form I would like the cursor to move to a particular field. Therefore I am a bit confused as to the code to use. I am familiar with vba in Excel and thought there would be something similar to [myField].Select.

On a similar note is there a marcro recorder in access similar to the one in Excel?

    Thanks,
    John

There is no macro recorder in Access. It would be very nice if there was one, but on the other hand I guess it would be more complicated than in Word or Excel to create one and to ensure that the resulting code is useful.

The method for moving to a control is SetFocus:

    [myControl].SetFocus
