    Query Assistance (03)

I have a query that returns a grand total of data. Think of this data as being a checkbook register as a series of dates with associated deposits/withdrawals.

Is it possible to obtain the date associated with the last record? The result of the query would look something like:

    <table border=1><td>Total</td><td>Date</td><td>1,000</td><td>12/31/2006</td></table>

    Thanks,
    John

Is the "date associated with the last record" always the most recent date? If so, you can add the date field to the query and set its Total option to Max. If not, what defines the "last record"?

    Hans,

Setting it to "max" was the solution.

    Thank you,
    John
