    Manipulation of the Print Dialog (XP SP3)

    Dear all,

    I would like to make some settings on the standard print dialog via macros. In detail, I would like to enable the option button Slides in the Print Area part of the dialog and add the slides that should be printed. Additionally, I would like to set the value of the listbox Color and Grayscale to Color, independent from the selected printer (standard is grayscale for b/w-printers, which leads to unwanted results on the printout). Is there a way of manipulating standard dialogs via macros?
    Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Try this:

    Sub SetPrintOptions()
    With ActivePresentation.PrintOptions
    .PrintColorType = ppPrintColor
    .RangeType = ppPrintSlideRange
    With .Ranges
    .Add Start:=3, End:=4
    .Add Start:=6, End:=6
    .Add Start:=9, End:=12
    End With
    End With
    End Sub
