    Send to Powerpoint (Word 2003)

    Does anyone know why when I do a "send document to Powerpoint" from Word, Powerpoint puts all text onto one slide? I have gone through and formatted my Word document with customized styles.

    I've also tried putting the document into Outline view and applying outline styles.

    Each paragraph formatted as Heading 1 becomes the title of a new slide.
    Each paragraph formatted as Heading 2, Heading 3 etc. becomes a bullet point, with Heading 2 as the highest level bullet.
