Reversing Cell Contents (Access 2003)

I have a table that contains a field called "Name" in which the user entered as Last Name, First Name. I want to switch the order so it reads First Name Last Name with no comma. Would a variation of a Concatenate function work for this?

You can use a combination of InStr, Left and Mid: the expression you need is

Trim(Mid([Name],InStr([Name],",")+1)) & " " & Trim(Left([Name],InStr([Name],",")-1))
</code>
If you want to update the existing names, create an update query and enter the above expression in the Update to line.
If you want to display the name in a new field, create a select query and place the above expression in a new column (in the Field row).
