    How to Uninstall IE7 (IE7 XP-SP2)

I had IE6 on my machine, "upgraded" it to IE7 a couple of months ago. IE7 has progressively become unstable, crashing almost all of the time (most recently, it seems, due to some Adobe add-in). I've had enough, and want to replace IE7 with IE6, but can't see how to do this. Is it just a matter of re-installing IE6 and during this process I will be "asked" if I want to remove IE7? If not, can someone please point me in the right direction?

Also, I couldn't find any releases for an IE7 service pack -- anyone aware of this?

    Thanks!

    Re: How to Uninstall IE7 (IE7 XP-SP2)

In the Control Panel select "Add or Remove Programs"
Scroll down the list of installed programs to "Windows Internet Explorer 7" and click "Remove". It will uninstall IE7 and in the process revert to IE6.

For your last question, there has not been an IE7 service pack.

Thanks for the very fast reply!

I somehow didn't see IE in the list of Add/Remove Programs when I first browsed it -- probably was looking for Microsoft... or Internet Explorer.... thanks for the eye-opener!

Your suggestion worked just fine, thanks again.
