    Insert Pictrue (03)

I'm not sure it this is the correct forum for this (feel free to move it) but I would like to insert a picture into a DB after I have made the picture transparent. This particular link provides some insight as to modifying a picture in Excel, Word and etc. by using the picture toolbar (image editing) and setting part of the picture to be transparent.

I can edit the picture exactly like I want it in Excel but am having difficulty in placing/inserting it into an Access DB. If I copy/paste the picture to MSPaint and save the file as a GIF, the picture doesn't display as transparent. In fact it looks pretty bad.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    John

Access 2003 and before don't support transparency in images. You'll have to upgrade to Access 2007 to get that.

But... Stephen Lebans has created code for displaying images with transparency. See Transparent.

    Thank you,
    John
