Microsoft Partner Track (MSO '07)

I received and e-mail from Microsoft encouraging me to attend one of their Partner Track meetings on Vista and Office. Too bad the one here in downtown Pagossa Springs (Portland OR) was booked. I chose to go to the one in Spokane next week and hope to learn a lot. This is a first for me. Any of you ever attended one of these?
Thanks John

Yes, several and even worked a few as a volunteer when MS was using some of the local user groups to help out.
They have all been different, but I have never been to one where BOTH the OS and Office were introduced at the same time.

Some we have gotten copies of the product and some we have not, but they have always had a fair "Goodie bag" on the way out.

Bottom line they are a lot of fun.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Sounds as if it could be fun then. There are giving a copy of Office Professional '07 as well. The one I am going to is just for Office however.
Thanks John

I attended the Office 2003 launch event, and it filled me with excitement -- until I realized how little was backwards compatible with our existing systems.

It was fun to watch grown men shoving and grabbing at the limited supply of little bundles of free software (note: programmers / development track). Those of us who "lost" that battle turned in their business cards; we later got two sets of the software by mail.

I just signed up for the 2007 launch the other day: http://www.microsoft.com/business/launch20...up/default.mspx

I too would have chosen the one in Seattle as it it only 3 hours instead of 5. But I have some business I can and need to do in Spokane anyway.
Thanks John
