Startup Inspector & more (WinXp SP2)

Coupla questions: I am running Startup Inspector and would like to ADD an item to the list. HOW do I do that?
#2 How do I put an item, specifically MOZILLA into the Systray?
#3 I am running Gmail. How do I put a shortcut icon for Gmail on the DeskTop?
#4 My buddy is using WinXp SP2 but there is NO Windows Security System on his machine. Where can he go to install it?

    Thanks mucho.

#3 Open Gmail in Internet Explorer.
Right-click an empty part of the web page.
Select "Create shortcut" from the popup menu.
The shortcut should open in your default browser.

#4 What is "Windows Security System"? Do you mean that your buddy doesn't have "Security Center" in his control panel?

#1 Add a shortcut to a program to one of your Startup folders (Cocuments and SettingsAll UsersStart MenuProgramsStartup or Cocuments and Settings<your username>Start MenuProgramsStartup)
#2 If an author of the program did not add the ability to put an icon to a Notification area ("System tray"), you couldn't do that. However, you can put a shortcut to a program to a toolbar (next to Notification area), creating a new toolbar or using an existing one, for instance, Quick Launch (Cocuments and Settings<your username>Application DataMicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch)
#4 Please be more specific. If you mean Windows Live OneCare, it is not part of the Windows and it is not free.

Thanx Hans. Will try the Shortcut method . Will look for Windows Security Center in the control panel and go from there.

Thanx for your reply. Will try that route next time I get on my Buds machine.
