    Outlook (Firefox 2.0)

Can Microsoft Outlook be removed? I did a search but there was no topic. If it can please tell me how. My preference is Outlook Express 6.

You don't really have to remove Outlook.

    Start Internet Explorer.
    Select Tools | Internet Options...
    Activate the Programs tab.
Specify Outlook Express as your default e-mail program.

If you still want to remove Outlook, open the Add/Remove Programs control panel.
Select the version of Microsoft Office you have.
Click Modify (or Change, I forget the exact term)
You can specify that you don't want Outlook.

I want to remove it because Microsoft Updates keeps finding hot fixes for it. Belarc keeps mentioning that it's missing. I never intend to use it so what's the use of having it hanging around.

    Thanks Hans for that information.
