Add delete rows on protected sheet (Excel2003)

Sorry for this question I know I must be missing something but seem to be temporarily blinded...

I have a sheet that is protected, still I set-up the protection to allow people to add and remove rows.

I found out that this cannot be done via the sheet itself (select a row, right-click) but I need the Excel menu.

For adding a row, that is "Insert", "Row". My question, how do I delete a row?

    (Sorry) <img src=/S/blackteeth.gif border=0 alt=blackteeth width=20 height=20>

If I right-click a row header in a protected worksheet, I can select Insert from the popup menu to insert a new row (provided Insert Rows has been allowed in the Protect Sheet dialog)

Delete is different: if a row contains at least one locked cell, you cannot delete it in a protected worksheet. If all cells in the row are unlocked, you *can* delete the row (provided Delete Rows has been allowed in hte Protect Sheet dialog)

Oh, I forgot: delete a row by right-clicking the row header and selecting Delete from the popup menu, or by left-clicking the row header and selecting Edit | Delete from the menu.

Yep, I see (and understand) things now (didn't work earlier as I had protected cells in the row).

Where would I be without all of you here @ Woody's...
