    Administrator rights (WinXP SP2)

Every once in awhile I get a popup window saying that I have to have Administrator rights in order to carry out a particular function. I'm not sure what it means OR what to do about it. Since I am the only one using this computer am I not THE Administrator AND how to do I establish that fact to satisfy the desired operation?

Woody's XP for Dummies does not explain this.

    Thanx mucho.

Control Panel, User Accounts should tell you if you are an Administrator or not.
