    OE6 No Longer Printing Header Info (IE7 & OE6)

My Outlook Express has stopped printing Header (To, From, Date & Subject) information.
This started happening after installation of IE7.
    Is there a know relationship?
Or does anyone have another answer for the problem?

Some more updated info from Microsoft newsgroups: Outlook Express & Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Update

Thanks for the references; however, neither Lounge or MS references solved my problem.
One other piece of information I just discovered.
Tried printing directly on the XP/IE7 system with an HP Color Printer and headers do print.
I usually print emails on my Brothers Laser Printer attached to my Win98SE system, and
that is where the Header Information is still not printing.
Is there any information about this combination?

Check with your Brother to see if he changed anything on his printer.

I can't think of any reason for a difference... Outlook Express should send the same print job either way. If I recall correctly, one of the newsgroup threads mentioned something about margin or other page setup changes being a temporary fix; perhaps that explains the discrepancy.

Whilst there are a few, not very helpful workarounds, they are simply not practical in a busy office. The fact is that there is a MAJOR PRINTING ERROR WITHIN IE7 which (even) reverting to IE6 doesn't entirely resolve, because seemingly IE7 alters the printing 'engine' permanently. This means that one can no longer print out emails with attachements, for legal reasons, or print web pages fast when researching at speed. The net is full of people discovering this problem (& 'helpful' folk proposing unhelpful 'solutions'). WHEN IS REDMOND GOING TO FIX THIS DISASTER?

No one here has a direct line to Microsoft, but then again, complaining the newsgroups might not have any more effect than complaining here. :-(
