    Re: Opening Personal.xls (Excel 2003)

    I suspect it's the line

    MyXL.Parent.Windows(1).Visible = True

If Personal.xls happens to be in Windows(1), it will be made visible. Try commenting out the line by inserting an apostrophe ' in front of it. I don't think it'll have adverse consequences.

    Opening Personal.xls (Excel 2003)

I need some help with the code listed below. I hope I'm in the right forum. When I run this code from Access it opens either the Personal.xls file or if there is no personal.xls sometimes Excel does not have the focus.

If I run it from my pc it works fine. If I run this over the network then I run into this problems.

Code: moved to attachment by HansV

    TIA
