Disable By Pass Key (Access 2000 adp)

I want to be able to disable the normal shift Bypass key
In an mdb this is easy using the line

    dbs.Properties("AllowByPassKey") = False

    where dbs is currentdb

In an adp project there is no currentdb

Can anyone help with the disabling of the shift key using and adp currentproject

I am sure it is not the same line against the currentproject object
It is essential that users cannot hack into the back end and only the shift key option is causing an issue

    many thanks for any ideas

Re: Disable By Pass Key (Access 2000 adp)

    OK SOLUTION FOUND

    Actually property is the same

The follwing line will change it

    CurrentProject.Properties("AllowByPassKey")=False

If the property does not exist then you will need to Add it using the line below

    CurrentProject.Properties.Add "AllowByPassKey", False

If you ned to trap the error that it doesn't exist then use error code 2455

To Enable then just change the False to True Obviously

    Might help someone else
