find (and delete) embedded objects (XL2000 on Win2

I have inherited a workbook that contains some very small embedded objects (they are embellishedGreek letters created with Equation Editor).

I want to be able to find these objects and delete them. Is there a way to track these critters down with VBA? The thought of eyeballing 4000 odd rows x 30+ columns across more than 10 worksheets does not appeal. Anyway they are so small I'm bound to miss some of them.

    stuck

If you want to delete ALL objects, you can do it without VBA:
    - Select Edit | Go To...
    - Click Special...
    - Select Objects, then click OK.
    - All objects on the active sheet will now be selected.
    - Press Delete to get rid of them.

That was too easy, sorry to have troubled you for the obvious.
