Printing Part of E-mail Message (Outlook 2003)

When I open an email message and wish to print only one part of it, I do not see how to do this. The only tab I have is the printer icon and this prints the whole email message. I think I used to have a

How about File>Print>Selection (after you have highlighted the part you want to print)?

I don't use Word as my mail editor, so the following comments apply to messages displayed in Outlook's own built-in editor.

For messages in HTML format, you can use File>Print to call up the same dialog presented in Internet Explorer. You can choose a range of pages, or you can print a selection (at least in theory, I've never tried to print a selection).

For messages in Plain Text or RTF formats, you are presented with very limited options for printing, not including printing a range of pages. This is a longstanding issue. Personally I print to pdfFactory, and then use its ability to delete pages from the buffer and open a PDF without having to name it to print just the pages I want. (Note: pdfFactory is $50, and the trial version prints a promotional footer at the bottom of your pages.)

John, on OL 2003, I don't see Selection as an option with plain text messages.

Edit: nor on RTF format messages.
