    AVI file

Windows Media Player opens an AVI file in only the audio mode. How do I get it to all show the video?

I'm unable to find the following file at the link you sent: ffdshow-20050630.exe

Can you provide a link to said file?

Did you try going to the project homepage - http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow?

    Try download and install
    Windows Media Video 9 VCM

This Video Compression Manager (VCM) based version of the Windows Media Video 9 encoder/decoder will enable legacy encoding and editing applications to support the Windows Media Video 9 codec in file containers such as AVI.

I ended up downloading ffdshow-20041012.exe and it solved the problem.
