    Web Save (Office 2003)

    Hello all,

I have a spreadsheet with about 200 columns of data, and within those columns the width is set to 12 points, when I save as a webpage I get all the columns but the column width is very large, making the visual presentation not what I would like, is there a way to set the width of the column of a web page?

    Thanks kindly,
    magoo

    Firstly welcome to the Lounge

I have just opened an Excel worksheet and enlarged the columns to 12 points multiply that by 200 and I have 2400 points wide <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

The spredsheet is on 11 columns wide on my screen-132 points. I will not physically be able to fit this on a screen, even if I changed the width in the web page.

Have you thought about converting the spreadsheet to a PDF document and/or adapting it so that it can be viewed seperately.

Or have I got this totally misunderstood?

Be sure that you are using the 100% Zoom view in Excel, else What You See will not be What You expect to Get in HTML.
