text in right hand side margin - any way (Word 2002 XP SR3)

    Hello

I have a word document thats has currently been setup as a table so they can add comments into the last "column" Owner. The text in the "Owner column" is to line up with the corresponding paragraph.
Ive added borders to this table so you can get an idea of the layout. Please see screen capture below.

However my dilema is, document has used styles. Normally the styles are indented from the page margins. As they are now copying and pasting the text into the table, the result is the paragraph left indentations starts from the table margins. which means all the heading styles left paragraph and tabs have to be reset.

Is there an easier way I can do this without using tables and still have the the Owner column?

    Many thanks

I think a table is by far the most convenient way to do this. Alternatives such as using multiple columns or creating text boxes in the margin are much more difficult to manage (the problem is keeping the main text and the comments together and correctly aligned).

The beauty of styles is that you only have to modify them in one place. If styles have been used consistently, you can then select text and press Ctrl+Q to reset the paragraph formatting to that of the style.
