    Chart behavior (2k sp3)

When creating a chart in access is there a way to stop access or change the behavior for the formats it is applying to a date type in the X axis. In the attached example I would like for the dates with no data not to show. Access is automatic filling the dates in-between the dates that need to be plotted. I have tried the changing the date grouping in the chart wizard. I have also choose a text field when creating the chart then went back and changed the row source back to the field with the dates. I cannot seem to find any options for this either. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

Open the form or report containing the chart in design view.
Don't worry if the chart doesn't look right.
Double click the chart to edit it.
Make sure you don't select anything in the chart.
    Select Chart | Chart Options...
    Activate the Axis tab.
    Select Category.
    Click OK.
    Click outside the chart.
    Save and close the form.
