Entering numbers to get names (Office 2000)

I want to input numbers in consecutive rows. Each time a number is entered, there should be a corresponding name that will appear in the column next to it in the same row.
For example: in A1 I type 2111 and the name ABC Company appears in B1. Then in A2 I type 2222 and the name CBS Company appears in B2.

    Thanks.

Where do the company names come from? Do you have a clairvoyant at hand? <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

There should be a way for me to enter the number with the name somewhere so when I type in the number, the name appears.

    Thanks.

If you want us to help you, you will have to help us by providing sufficient information. For example, where can Excel find which name corresponds to which number? Do you have a table listing the numbers and names, or ...?

    Yes it does.

I thought I could create a table of numbers and names and then have the number pull the name from there. This does the same thing.

    Thanks.
