    burning DVDs (XP sp2)

I'm experiencing difficulty in transferring video from DVD to computer to another DVD, I receive confirmation that the copy from the first DVD to my desktop is complete. However, when attempting to copy it to a blank DVD I receive error messages.. Any guidance?? <img src=/S/confused.gif border=0 alt=confused width=15 height=20>
    Regards,

To copy ("clone" or "backup") entire DVD ("regular DVD"), you have to use a third-party utility - Windows XP burning applet CAN NOT do such task. Of course, if it is not "data DVD" which contains movies as video files (.mov, .wmf and so on).

More, commercial DVDs often contain code which prevents copying - to clone such DVDs is against the law.

To find more information about the issue, use your favorite web search for "DVD copy".
    Good luck!
