    table corrupt (2000)

    hi,

I believe my fendend database is corrupted. I have one table tblWorksheet (Primary Key: WorksheetID) and another table tblService (Primary Key: ServicesID, also have worksheetID). The two table is one to many relationship. Now there's about 500 data have blank WorksheetID fields in tblService. So what's the way to fix it?

    Please advice.

    Regards

If this is a frontend database, then I'm assuming the 2 tables are just work tables. I'd just delete them and then recreate them, perhaps pulling them in from a backup.

    Thanks, Mark.

But I am so sorry. It's a backend database. So what's the best way to fix it?

Well, your database may not be corrupted. If the WorkSheetID field in tblService is not required, it is still possible to add records to tblService with a Null WorksheetID field even though you may have referential integrity enforced. If this is the case, you have problems in your frontend that is allowing this to happen. I don't know that there is any way to fix this in the existing records, unless there is some way you could match a record in tblService with a record in tblWorksheet.

As Mark wrote, unless you have some way to match a record in tblService with a blank WorksheetID to a record in tblWorksheet, there is no obvious way to fix it.
