"Handsfree Manual enables a user to create an instruction manual containing both text, still pictures, movie clips and mp3 files.

These files are assembled by the user via our software. Once assembled, the user can navigate the manual using voice commands. Each text file is read back to the user via the text-to-speech software. Any jpegs are simultaneously displayed, any audio is replayed and any video is replayed. The application allows a user to follow any instruction manual without the use of their hands.

The HandsFreeManual software was designed to run under the Windows XP operating system (OS). This application will not run under older versions of the Windows OS. In addition to this, you must have the Microsoft Speech SDK V5.1 installed and enabled. If you do not have this, you need to install it or else this program will not run. You can download this free from Microsofts website. The link is provided here for your convenience (SpeechSDK51.exe). A general purpose personal computer capable of running Windows XP is required. Since this application utilizes voice recognition software, the system must also have a microphone and speakers."

An interesting sounding program - 2.8MB <img src=/S/free.gif border=0 alt=free width=30 height=15>
