    IFrame (FP2K)

I'm using Iframe to host a portion of a page from another domain. I'm told that netscape does not support Iframe? if this is true then what other command with same function would be netscape compliant as well?
Any plans of netscape supporting Iframe?

I just recently added IFRAMEs to my site but forgot all about Netscape in my hurry to get it published. Thanks for pointing this out. If I come across an answer other than checking for browser type and linking direct to the page for Netscape, I'll let you know.

    Tahir,
I installed Netscape 6.01 this morning and it supports IFRAMEs.

Visit <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.golf-in-wales.com/south/royalporthcawl/entries.htm>Royal Porthcawl Golf Club</A> to see an example of IFRAMEs working.

I have just visited http://www.golf-in-wales.com/south/royalpo...awl/entries.htm using netscape 6.1 but I do not see the framed page. It just show your top header. Whereas if I try with IE, I see all of your page.
My page with netscape would start showing HTML code if a Iframe is used.

Tahir, attached a gif of my IFRAMEs in action. I note you say you are using Version 6.1 of Netscape. You do realise this is a BETA and may have bugs.

OK from here in NS6 - actual 'version' described in help as:
    Netscape 6
    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; m18) Gecko/20010131 Netscape6/6.01

I did note it was quite slow loading up compared with IE5.5.

BTW - reduced the size of you pic a touch

Yes, this one I could see in with I.E - I will download version 6.0 and look at my page again. Why not you give it a try with your netscape.

If the page is loaded properly then you will find where the frame is used.

No problems with that Leif. Thanks for dropping in. Load time may be dependent on our hosting service. We move next month to a data center with a single 100M switch between us and a 140M backbone.

Note for Tahir -- Nice looking site.
