    Produce booklet as PDF (2003)

I want to prepare a booklet for the printers and provide it to them as a PDF file. I generally do this for a small church newsletter I produce using Serif PagePlus, which gives me good page layout options and can export as a PDF. But now I want to produce a rather longer affair with separate chapters each with end notes at the end of the chapter. The material has already been provided to me as Word files. It is easier to continue to use Word to preserve the end notes etc. , and I won't need DTP-style page layout features.

I am hoping that I can use Word to prepare the whole thing, and use the booklet printing feature - I have access to Adobe Acrobat at work so presumably I could "print" a booklet to Acrobat distiller. Should that work?

If you print to the Acrobat printer, it should respect the printer settings specified in Word such as booklet printing.

OK - I'll try it with a sample document.
