Help With Net Use Syntax? (XP SP-2)

    The following works OK:
    net use /yes H: tocfpdc2usersNBS
    net use /yes N: Tocfpdc2NBS

When I run this to delete the connection:
    net use H: tocfpdc2usersNBS /delete
    net use N: Tocfpdc2NBS /delete

I get error message 3510 - A command was used with conflicting switches

    What am I doing wrong

    Thanks, John

    That was simple enought!

    Thanks, John

PS: So much for Win XP Help

    Examples

To disconnect from the FinancialPublic directory, type:

    net use f: financialpublic /delete

I noticed the error too. Apparently the Microsofties don't read their own help files...

Probably just a case of cutting and pasting the original command, and forgetting to remove the offending field.

Don't forget that one of the "design features" of NET USE is that it doesn't give any accurate errorlevels, so you have to examine any message issued as a result of the command...
