Mail merge to e-mail (Word XP)

Subject edited by HansV to be less vague than "Word"

I have a user who wants to use Word as a mail merge to merge to email. All that is fine but she wants it to go from a different email address and not hers. Is there a way of doing this? We are using Outlook 2003 with Exchange

    Thanks

By far the easiest way to do this is to log into Outlook with the account that should appear in the "From" box.

our Outlook is governed by our PC log on. We cannot add other outlook accounts.

Would i be right in sayiing then that the person needs to log on the the PC as this other account to be able to complte this action.

She does not want to use outlook but use the mail merge feature in word.

    Thanks

Yes, it would be best if that user logs on to the PC to perform the mail merge.

The alternative is to write VBA code to handle the mail merge - rather complicated, and much slower.
