    Save as HTML (Word 97)

I am using Word97 to create a simple web page by saving as HTML.
After saving as HTML, I am getting double spacing between the lines in the text.
I have tried the line spacing adjust command, but it doesn't help.
    My font size is 15.
    Any suggestions?

Re: Save as HTML (Word 97)

In traditional HTML every time a new paragraph is created a double space displays. Did your document have a lot of paragraphs? There are HTML commands to control spacing, but I don't think that Word supports them. When saving as HTML it seems to take the simplest route.
To be honest the HTML code that Word creates is not the best <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>.
However, back to your more immediate problem. Try replacing your paragraphs with line breaks (use Shift +Enter) then save as HTML.

    Hope this helps.
