    Registry entry (2003)

There is a way to create a registry key in Excel. Can someone remind me of the statement that allows me to do this? Thanks, Andy.

    Re: Registry entry (2003)

Excel VBA has built-in support for creating, reading and writing entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program Settings.

    For example

    SaveSetting "Andrew","Window", "Top", 75

will set the value of the Top entry in HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareVB and VBA Program SettingsAndrewWindow to 75. If necessary, the subkeys and the entry will be created.

If you want to create an entry elsewhere in the registry, you need to use Windows API functions.
