For those with access to UK TV, BBC2 is screening a 30 min programme tonight (Fri 9th) at 1900 GMT entitled "Coming to your screen: Microsoft's new Vista" The Times newspaper viewing guide quotes it as being "essential viewing for anyone remotely interested in computers"

From the brief write-up it would seem that the Vista launch is likely to be the last of its kind, as (quote) Microsoft moves away from these barnstorming events towards "software as a service", with the consumer subscribing to software updates on a regular basis (unquote)
