    Run Away Code (03)

I renamed a sheet within a workbook and have inadventantly triggered off code to unprotect the sheet that I just renamed. Unfortuantely I did not update the code to reflect the new sheet name.

I currently have an hour glass for a cursor. I can save the file and write additional code. How would I go about aborting this runaway code? I have tried Ctrl-Break but that does not work.

I could exit Excel and come back in but is there an alternative to this?

    Thanks,
    John

If you can save the file and write additional code, then your code is not running, you've just screwed up the cursor. Try going into the VBEditor, and entering this in the Immediate window:
    <code>Application.Cursor = xlDefault</code>

    Rory,

    That did the trick.
