    Outlook Hangs (Outlook 2003)

    Outlook freezes at least one or two times a day. I have looked at Event Viewer to try and discover what is causing this problem. Attached is one screen shot with what I have found. (I have several others but they exceed the 100K max. If anyone needs more I can provide.) I have no idea what it means.

    I think that is the Fault Reporting module sending the info to MS running.
    If you allowed it to send the error report, did you get back a link to a possible cause?

    Re: Outlook Hangs (Outlook 2003)

    Problem solved ZA tech support suggested I do a clean uninstall of ZA 6.5 and install ZA 7.0. I did this on Feb 12, 2007 and so far no more problems.
    The process was:
    Remove & Install ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite:
    1. Create Restore Point;
    2. Click on Start -> Programs -> Zone Labs;
    3. RIGHT-click on Uninstall Zone Labs Security, then select Properties;
    4. Under Target you will see the following line (the actual drive may be different on your system): "C:Program FilesZone LabsZoneAlarmzauninst.exe"
    5. Change it to: "C:Program FilesZone LabsZoneAlarmzauninst.exe" /clean (add a space and then the /clean)
    6. Click OK to save the new command line;
    7. Click on Start -> Programs -> Zone Labs -> Uninstall Zone Labs Security;
    8. Click OK to run the uninstaller, and OK any security alerts that pop up;
    9. Say "Yes when being prompted for the removal of all files;
    10. Reboot;
    11. Download and Install the latest version: ZoneAlarm Security Suite
