    What are the specific steps to SHARPEN an image?

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge!

    Many graphics editors have ready-to-use sharpening tools, such as the free IrfanView or FastStone Image Viewer and of course commercial products such as Adobe Photoshop.

    By the way, most software sharpens images by detecting edges and increasing contrast. If the image is out of focus, there are special tools that address that issue.

    yeah i guess the program i'm using would help. I'll be using photoshop. can someone give me like a simple step by step example?

    There are tutorials at photoshopsupport.com and another a sitepoint.com that may be a starting point for you.
