    Enter data once, use in several places (MSWord 97)

    Edited by HansV to make subject more descriptive

    I would like to make my template smarter by allowing for the following to be keyed in only once but then to be automatically placed in the several places when they should appear (all marked in red - except where the needed insertions are in the footer where I can't change the font colour))
    registration number
    registration holder
    premises address
    area office address

    any ideas?

    Is this to be a fill-in form where the user can only enter data in a few predetermined locations, or should the user to be able to enter, edit and format text freely?
