Remote Desktop connection passthrough (SP2)
I have a database application running on a Win2003 Server that is utilising the 5 CALS for Terminal Services.
I want one user to have just a single desktop icon that will take them through the Remote Desktop Connection AND start just that one application. How do I do this? I would also hope for a solution that logs off the user's session at the end of their time with the database.

Re: Remote Desktop connection passthrough (SP2)
You could setup a logon script on the server to start the application when the user session is started. I'd recommend them having a separate user name for that work as you probably don't want the job started each time the logon to the domain. There are settings on the server to timeout a session after a certain period of inactivity. As far as logging on automatically I'd recommend not doing that but if you really want to look at AutoIt v3 - Automate and Script Windows Tasks - For Free! for the ability to script the job.
